What's new in Upklass

Paste a picture into a comment or a message, pictures upload and load faster, search and comments sit neatly on the keyboard, GIFs open in a sheet you can drag, and dark mode reads clearly.

• NewPaste a picture straight into a comment or a message (Cmd+V or Ctrl+V, or Paste on your phone). It attaches just like the picture button, and text copied from Word or Excel still pastes as words.
• NewYour Circle bio, location and links are now on your Upklass profile, wherever you had not filled them in yet.
• ImprovedPictures you post, comment or send in messages now upload faster and load faster for everyone: they are shrunk automatically, with text staying sharp.
• ImprovedPosts with a poster now show it as their picture in the feed, like posts with photos.
• ImprovedYour bio can now be up to 1,000 characters.
• ImprovedSearch in the app works like Circle: the keyboard waits until you tap the search box, and the box sits right on the keyboard.
• ImprovedWriting a comment on a phone: the comment box sits right on the keyboard, and nothing from the feed shows through.
• ImprovedGIFs open in a sheet from the bottom that you can drag up for more or down to close.
• ImprovedClassroom pages load much faster: course cover pictures are now shrunk automatically when uploaded.

A floating menu and search button in the app, a comment box that stays at hand on every post, and tidier posts on phones and computers.

• NewThe app's bottom menu is now a floating glass bar with Home, Notifications and Messages. It tucks away while you scroll.
• NewSearch moved to the round button at the bottom right of the app.
• NewOn a post, the comment box stays pinned to the bottom of the screen, with the post's like beside it.
• NewTap the bar at the top of a screen to jump back to the top, including inside an open post.

The first round of requests and fixes from launch week. Comments can be sorted and run much longer, the iPhone app refreshes with a pull and swipes back from more screens, and posts and comments get a lighter design.

• NewSort comments by Newest or Oldest. Your choice is remembered on each device.
• NewiPhone app: pull down at the top of a page or a post to refresh it.
• NewPress Alt+Enter (Option+Enter on a Mac) to post a comment. Enter still starts a new line.
• NewPaste a link to a post, course or lesson from your community and it shows as its title instead of a long address.
• ImprovedGoing back from a member's profile returns to the post, at the comment you were reading. iPhone app: swipe back works on profiles and in Settings too.
